Ken currently is the president of Harvest Financial Group. He began his career in 1983 as a certified public accountant after graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in business administration. Ken spent many years with two major multi-billion-dollar financial services organizations where, as vice president, he was responsible for customer service operations. In 1999, Ken expanded his career in the financial services industry, co-founding Harvest Financial Group and specializing in retirement and estate planning, asset protection and investment planning.
Ken believes in long-term, dedicated relationships with a lot of personal interaction. The level of client service that the team provides helps ensure that the financial and retirement income plans remain suitable to his clients’ goals and flexible enough to meet their changing needs.

Brittany Ashcraft*, RICP®
Financial Advisor
People don't come to Brittany looking for a financial plan—they come looking for clarity, confidence, and someone they can trust to help guide them through life's biggest decisions.
For Brittany, financial planning is about much more than numbers. It's about building meaningful relationships and helping people create a future that reflects what matters most to them. She believes every client has a unique story, unique goals, and unique concerns, which is why she takes the time to truly get to know the people she serves.
Known for her approachable personality and genuine care for others, Brittany strives to make financial planning feel comfortable, understandable, and empowering. She listens first, asks thoughtful questions, and works closely with clients to create personalized strategies that align with their values and vision for the future. Whether preparing for retirement, navigating a major life transition, or building a legacy for the next generation, Brittany is committed to walking alongside her clients every step of the way.
A Topeka native, Brittany grew up watching her father, Ken, build lasting relationships and help families pursue financial confidence. When the opportunity arose to join Harvest Financial in 2012, she was excited to continue that legacy while bringing her own passion for serving others. Today, she is grateful to work alongside Ken, helping clients pursue their goals and “live a life well spent”.
Brittany holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation and maintains her Series 6, 63, and 65 securities registrations, along with her life insurance license. She earned her degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Nebraska, a background that continues to influence her client-centered approach and commitment to exceptional service.
Outside the office, Brittany's greatest joy is her faith and family. She is a member of Topeka Bible Church and is married to her husband, Andy. Together they are raising their three boys, Jackson, Brock, and Cooper. When she's not helping clients plan for the future, you'll likely find her cooking for family and friends, browsing her favorite shops, or enjoying a good book with a glass of wine.
Chase Vander Hart*
Financial Advisor
Chase joined Harvest Financial Group full-time in May 2020 after graduating from Kansas State University with a degree in Personal Financial Planning. While he enjoys the analytical side of financial advising, Chase believes the true value of the profession comes from building meaningful relationships and creating personalized plans that help clients pursue their goals and aspirations.
Getting to know each client's unique story is what drives his passion for the work. He joined his father and sister at Harvest Financial Group because he knew an independent, family-owned firm would allow him to develop deeper relationships and provide the personalized guidance that clients deserve.
A lifelong Topeka resident, Chase takes great pride in serving the community he calls home. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Reagan, enjoy making memories with loved ones and being involved in the local community.
Chase is also passionate about his faith and is actively involved at Mission Church and with Young Life.
